A standard DocLinks™ implementation provides the functionality to manage patient charts, medical records transcription, user security, clinical notes and document distribution.  Our Core Services continually run in the background to enhance and build the Core Structure of DocLinks™.   

Shared Master Patient Index
To maintain accuracy for more than 568,000 patient records, DocLinks™ utilizes a centralized patient database.  Through a multi-layered screening process and statistical analysis, probabilities of duplication are calculated based on a variety of criteria.  The result is a Master Patient Index (MPI) that actively inhibits human error and preserves the integrity of highly sensitive information.

DocLinks™ chart structure organizes patient information into a commonly recognized format that is familiar and intuitive in the healthcare environment.

Network Management
Powered by Lotus Domino Server and Lotus Notes technologies, DocLinks™ utilizes industry-accepted development tools and protocols to enable efficient network management.   Multiple pass-through and interface servers, designed to operate specific tasks in order to ensure information integrity and security, continually process data to and from our hub servers.  Our group servers are designed to provide reliable external client connectivity and real-time data access.  On-site and off-site backup servers provide essential data preservation.

Documentation, Data Modules and Resources
Data Modules and Reference Resources provide specific capabilities and functionalities that allow instant access to a patient’s chart.  All data modules and resources integrate seamlessly and are a part of a standard DocLinks™ implementation.  Progressively, individual Data Modules can be customized beyond the standard implementation package according to the informational needs and preferences of each physician and their practice.
