Lab Print Module
Through a partnership with PacLab, DocLinks™ provides a stand-alone Lab Print Module, which is able to automatically update and print final lab reports and cumulative lab summaries by checking in with the PacLab server every 10 minutes to receive the latest reports.
DocLinks™ also allows physicians to view and electronically sign labs from any computer with an Internet connection, giving each office the choice of whether or not to file hard copy lab reports with a patient’s paper chart.
Lab Module
DocLinks™ maintains a single lab chart for streamlined lab reviewing and cumulative reporting. Current contracts include PacLab, Quest and Mason General Hospital. The lab module interacts with clinical notes, letters, alerts and more.
Work Flow
Ever lose a patient in your office? Work Flow tracks the patient from check-in to checkout through a real-time dashboard. It also allows you to run reports on how a patient travels through your practice.
Copies Inbox
An electronic Inbox enables providers to digitally receive and sign documents, making it unnecessary to manually sign and file copies from outside your organization.
Interfacing – ID, Eligibility and Insurance
DocLinks™ simplifies the input and management of complex ID and Eligibility requirements through direct interfaces with practice management systems, which allow the user to easily establish, prioritize and coordinate the exchange of Health Level 7 (HL7) approved information.
Shared Resource Databases
DocLinks™ standard configuration include essential shared reference databases:
- ICD9 & CPT Codes
- Phone Book (phone and fax numbers, addresses, provider and medical community look-up feature)
- Formulary (First DataBank, Inc.)
- Patient Handouts (consent forms, patient information, instructions)
Protocols and Check Lists
Standard Protocols and Check Lists can be written, customized and automatically initiated to prompt and direct nearly any action taken in accordance with each Medical Group’s clinical criteria. Choose from a pre-defined protocol or create your own. These tools are especially helpful when implementing tightly regimented care.
Check Lists provide clear timelines and alerts for the delivery of medications, exams, tests and other treatment actions. Criteria can be based off simple or complex formulas with triggers such as age, sex, current medications, diagnosis, full-text searches and any variety or combination of data elements captured throughout the program. Information, such as Labs and vaccinations, can be inherited into the Check Lists for auto-completed information.
A sample diabetic checklist may contain:
- A1C every 90 or 180 days
- Retinal exam every 356 days
- Foot exam every 365 days
- Smoking Assessment every 365 days
- Diabetes Education every 365 days
- Exercise Assessment every 365 days
- Creatinine every 365 days
- Micro Albumin/Creatinine Ratio every 365 days
- Cholesterol (LDL & HDL) every 365 days
- Triglycerides every 365 days
Protocols may be written to ensure consistent completion of nearly any task in accordance with national standards. ‘Reminders’ to do this can be in many forms to include:

DocLinks™ electronically submits requests orders and referral requests with

Report Generator
DocLinks™ reporting capabilities allow you to easily produce and deliver scheduled or ad hoc reports based on any combination of criteria. In addition, you are able to:
- Search and analyze data from any data element, including full-text medical records and other documents
- Select from a library of pre-composed Administrative, Clinical and Restricted reports
- Export reports to MS Word or Excel
- Schedule reports to be printed and/or emailed to a pre-defined recipient list
